Used audience insights to reposition Waves’ top-selling plugin for a stronger market fit and higher conversion.
Waves #1 product was losing momentum because of market changes and a new subscription model.
Using BI for user research and market trends, I have repositioned the product so the marketing assets talk to the right audience, and A/B tested creatives to optimize the campaign's ROI.
Before the campaign launched (August) sales were down 4%. The launch reversed the trend, driving a sustained 24% increase through year-end.
Effectively marking a 28% turnaround.
Resulted with 4:1 ROI on Meta ads

Ran as short and ad, resulted with 3:1 ROI on Meta
Before Waves’ third round of layoffs in 2023, I led the PMMs and content creators. Supporting the launch of Clarity was my first full product rollout in the company.
Assisting the PMM in co-writing the creatives and refining messaging using frameworks and templates that led to quicker approvals. I have personally cast the actors, producers, musicians, and videographers to create a younger feel for this product, compared to the first plugin in the Clarity series.
Clarity Vx DeReverb Pro has won the 39th NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Award for Signal Processing Software.
Alongside building templates and streamlining PMM workflows, I worked on the company’s content strategy, interviewing and hiring external creators to increase output. One of my recruits was Bradley Denniston, now one of Waves’ leading voices.
Waves is the only company in the industry charging for version updates, making new version releases a high-friction point.
The old rollout approach felt cold and feature-dense, reinforcing that tension.
Waves' approach to version updates felt cold and reinforced the tension customers had with paying for products they've already bought.
Working with the Creative Director we shifted the narrative, making the update about the user, not the features, resulting in a double-digit boost in sales compared to the previous year.
Tasked with rebuilding momentum to Waves' first online service - resulting in a 52.6% increase in sales within one quarter.
Originally positioned as a strategic release, Waves Online Mastering underperformed after launch.
Reporting directly to the CEO, I designed and executed a multi-channel campaign, repositioning the product, redesigning the landing page, and managing PPC, newsletters, and affiliate partnerships.
Sales increased by 52.6% in just three months and sustained that uplift as the new baseline with the ongoing campaign.
This campaign had the most elaborate newsletter campaign I’ve led, including launch sequences, segmented content, blog posts, testimonials, cross-brand collaborations, videos, discounts, and more.
While I no longer have access to the full archive, I still wanted to highlight the depth of planning, segmentation, and creative execution that went into every part of this effort.
Supported multiple launches across Waves’ expanding catalog, driving execution from early planning through release.
Entering a niche dominated by a single company, this product needed a strong marketing narrative to highlight its advantage over the competition.
Developed advertising concepts and scripted campaign videos alongside educational tutorials for both seasoned engineers and new users.
Ran newsletter and affiliate campaigns to promote the product and broaden its reach through partner channels.
